Gator Custom Mobility, Inc. provides adaptive equipment to people with disabilities. More than one in five adults in Florida have some type of disability. Our job is to assist those people in overcoming environmental barriers that keep them from daily activities of living.
Position:
This position greets customers, directs phone calls, assists customers with equipment selection, and answers repair questions. Mechanically inclined helpful. At times equipment must be retrieved from the customer’s car and brought into our shop for repairs, you must be able to lift 40lbs. This position requires a person who is kind and respectful. People with disabilities may move, speak, think, or act at a different pace than you may, so it is necessary to have patience and compassion. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Greeting customers
· Answer phone calls
· Light clerical work
· Demonstrate basic equipment
· Assisting clients in removing or loading equipment into their vehicle.
Education:
High school or equivalent
Experience:
Customer service
Computer skills; basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
Job Requirement:
Pass a State of Florida Level 2 background check
