What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Team: Manage and support our small accounting team, helping them grow and making sure everything runs smoothly.
- Handle the Books: Oversee month-end and year-end closings, making sure our financials are in tip-top shape.
- Work Side-by-Side with Leadership: Partner with our President and other key team members to help plan budgets, forecasts, and keep us on track financially.
- Keep Us Compliant: Ensure we’re following all tax and regulatory requirements, so we can focus on what we do best.
- Improve Our Processes: Help us find better ways to do things – we’re always open to improving!
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years managing or leading a team.
- Solid Knowledge: You’re comfortable with financial reporting, payroll, tax filings, and everything in between.
- Tech-Savvy: You know your way around QuickBooks Online and MS Office Suite – Excel is a MUST!
- Team Leader: You’ve got experience guiding a team, offering support, and helping others grow.
- Problem Solver: You can handle whatever comes your way and find solutions without missing a beat.
- Attention to Detail: You don’t miss the small stuff and make sure everything is in order.
