The Student Nurse Technician provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse while gaining valuable clinical experience. Student Nurse Technicians have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations to expand their clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications :
- Enrollment in an accredited RN or approved LPN Nursing Program required
- Completion of 1 semester of clinical experience involving hands-on patient care required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification required
WORK SCHEDULE : Per Diem / Varied Shifts, minimum hours required : 32 hours per each six week schedule, 8 of those hours must be a weekend shift, one winter & one summer holiday
