Position Overview
This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands. Overtime including weekends may be available.
Responsibilities
Set an example to co-workers by always practicing safe work habits. Assure work areas are free from hazards that could cause injury or accidents. Report any unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager.Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude towards customers, co-workers, subordinates, and management. Support, encourage, and participate in quality improvement projects in order that department activities meet or exceed customer and company quality, service, and performance needs and expectations. Maintain a good attendance / punctuality record. Perform job with established standards. Offer suggestions to solve problems. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous machine operator experience is required. Experience in die-cutting is preferred. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required.
