Description:
The Client Service Manager will deliver extraordinary customer experiences while driving new client acclimation and long-term relationships. This individual is required to execute and deliver on all monthly, quarterly and annual departmental goals and objectives as outlined by their manager
The successful Client Service Manager provides oversight and customer support for new small business clients and associated client business. Other duties include:

- Assist broker with renewing a client’s policies upon anniversary

- Provide clients with best options available to each individual client/company
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a professional and positive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. The nature of this team requires a high level of energy and the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and to work under pressure. Other essential requirements and responsibilities include:
- Ability to convey employer benefits to clients through accurate information including but not limited to: present at open enrollment meetings, power point presentations, compliance documents, benefit guides and client questions
- Participate in a proactive approach with clients on a quarterly, or as needed basis
- Attend client renewal meetings
- Assist broker with renewing a client’s policies upon anniversary
- Understands and utilized the Brokerage Builder software system or has the ability to learn new software systems quickly to track prospect activity and add vital notes
- Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadership
- Manage renewal process for clients by requesting information from carriers, including but not limited to: current bills, censuses, rates and summaries
- Ensure proper plans and carriers are quoted and accurately entered and displayed on client spreadsheet in timely manner
- Coordinate occasional necessary communication with the group through the Broker/Client Manager
- Other duties as prescribed by the Manager
Skills and Knowledge:
- Keeps clients informed of legislative developments using internal and external resources
- Sound reasoning and judgment
- Proven use and understanding of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to use Excel extensively in analysis and daily reporting of departmental goals.
- A state insurance license is recommended, not required.
- Technically savvy and proficient with ongoing improvements in enrollment processes.
Preferred Qualification
- Utah Life, Accident & Health license, or ability to pass exam to obtain license
Performance Expectations:
- Ability to consistently attend work, meetings and required training or staff events.
- Must work with respect, must get along with diverse personalities.
- Must meet or exceed team and overall company expectations.
Working Conditions / Essential Functions:
This position enjoys the benefits and climate control of a quiet office environment. Employees are provided with ergonomically sound workspaces. Work is accomplished at a computer terminal either sitting or standing. Employees must access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. Comfort and efficiency are considered in employee workspaces. Daily work includes computer interfacing, data entry, communications (electronic and physical), movement throughout the office, attending meetings, etc.
Physical demands include the ability to lift and move objects (typically 0 – 10lbs), visually monitor information/data on a computer screen,
