Description:
First impressions are essential for good business and relations at GBS. As the first employee visitors meet, the Front Office Representative provides warm friendly greetings to clients and visitors along with great customer service and direction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct departments.
- Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
- Monitor lists of CE credits and renewals of Utah Licenses for Insurance Broker
- Broker appointments with carriers
- Other projects as needed
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High School Degree
- Physical demands include the ability to lift and move objects (typically 0-15 lbs)
Performance Expectations:
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Must work with respect, and have the ability to get along with diverse personalities.
Working Conditions / Essential Functions:
This position enjoys the benefit of working in a newly constructed and beautiful open concept office building. Our facility is state of the art with common areas, stand-up workstations, beautiful views, an amazing lunchroom, and wonderful amenities. Employees are provided with modern ergonomically proven workspaces. Daily work includes computer interfacing, data entry, communications (electronic and physical), movement throughout the office, attending meetings, etc.
