IT Technician- Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Provide technical support, system testing, inspections and assessments to assess, inspect and correct system faults within all variants of ISNS AN / USQ-153, including associated equipment.
- Identify and correct anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance and connectivity problems.
- Provide onboard maintenance training to ship's force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance and logistics support of ISNS.
- Assist Ship's Force technicians and government personnel at assigned locations to analyze and resolve malfunctions detected during equipment operation and test.
- Observe / conduct equipment checks, note condition and parameters for any out of specification readings or settings, as requested.
- Conduct technical oversight of corrective maintenance actions.
- Provide effective written and verbal communication and strives for continuous improvement.
- Develop technical / engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, trouble-shooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
- Provide on the job training to Ships Force during any shipboard evolutions.
- Suggest equipment / system engineering changes toward improving quality and reliability and to facilitate installation, maintenance and repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain / maintain one (U.S. Citizenship required)

qualifications :
AN / USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.1
AN / USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT)
