GC Associates requires a detail-oriented Case Management Analyst to provide Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) case management support, perform Veterans Tracking Application disenrollment queue management and conduct IDES case reviews to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the Military Departments' management of individual IDES cases through the identification and correction of data quality errors, monitoring select case actions to ensure compliance with policy and procedure, identifying and monitoring cases that exceed established timeliness goals, providing assistance to system users, and researching cases as required to correct errors or provide information.
• Review requests for case disenrollment and complete required disenrollment actions within the established timeline, or initiate actions to correct issues that prevent disenrollment action.
• Engage with Military Department or Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Benefits Administration points of contact, as necessary to resolve errors.
• Apply effective verbal and written customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Assist in researching information for presentations and making topic recommendations, developing draft briefings, newsletters and other topic-specific communication tools.
• Assist in the development of program-related information technology systems, providing functional subject matter expertise to system developers/configuration specialists and participation in user acceptance testing.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 4 years of related experience with a government or non-governmental organization, supporting case management operations.
Desired: Knowledge of the Disability Evaluation System program from the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Military Service-level; Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders; Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions; Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in completing tasks; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure; Ability to quickly learn and adapt to specialized software or database systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
