Position OverviewThe HR & Office Manager will be responsible for HR administration, payroll processing, safety compliance, and workforce development initiatives, ensuring smooth office operations and compliance with labor and safety regulations. This role will work closely with leadership to develop a high-performing workforce while fostering a culture of safety and professional growth.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and benefits administration.
- Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Coordinate office operations, vendor management, and document control.
- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Manage employee timekeeping systems and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Oversee benefits deductions, 401(k) contributions, and wage adjustments.
- Generate payroll reports and coordinate with finance for audits.
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
- Maintain records of training, certifications, safety audits, and incident reports.
- Organize safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for safety inspections and reporting.
- Work with leadership to develop proactive safety initiatives and minimize workplace risks.
- Develop and implement employee training and professional development programs.
- Identify skill gaps and create structured on-the-job training initiatives.
- Manage apprenticeship or mentorship programs to build internal talent pipelines.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, payroll, safety, and workforce development.

- Proficiency in payroll systems.
