Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to read blueprints and perform various construction tasks. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety on the job site. The Mason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, and stone.
Duties
- Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform renovations and repairs on existing structures.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
- Execute metal stud framing as required by project designs.
- Estimate materials needed for construction projects accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in frame carpentry and hardscape installation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
