GC&E Systems is the Southeast’s premier specialty contractor for integrated security including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Electronic Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), VDV cabling, data center infrastructure, electrical service, and wireless networks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain Genetec Enterprise Software for National Account Customer including Security Patching, Upgrades, Software Optimization, Fail Over and Third-Party Integrations, etc.
Ensure Genetec Enterprise Software is Operating In a Secure and Stable Environment at All Times.
Subject Matter Expert on Genetec Enterprise Synergis and Omnicast Software Platforms. Version 5.9 or higher.
Subject Matter Expert on Genetec Enterprise Security Center Applications.
Assisting Account Manager and Sales Manager with customer service and client satisfaction.
Assisting Project Managers / Operations Manager with customer service and client satisfaction.
Assist Customer on Best Practices for Genetec Software Upgrades and Updates.
Respond to Enterprise Software Related Service Calls or Trouble Request.
Engage Genetec Shared Dedicated Support as Needed.
Conduct Daily Evaluations of Enterprise Genetec Software Performance.
Prepare for and Conduct Quarterly Business Review Meetings with Customer.
Prepare Monthly Status Report and Present to Customer.
Follow and Support Customer Change Management Policies and Procedures.
Report to Customer Site During Normal Business Hours, Monday-Friday.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT Discipline or a Business, Engineering or Construction Management Background.
Trained and Certified on Genetec Enterprise Software. Genetec Security Center Enterprise Technical Certification SC-ETC-001 Required.
High Level of Knowledge with Enterprise Server Configuration and Administration of Synergis Access Control, Omnicast CCTV software and Genetec Security Center Applications.
7 Years Minimum background in Access Control and CCTV Surveillance System Programming and Troubleshooting.
Strong Organizational Skills
Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills.
Excellent IP Networking Skills.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Willingness and Ability to Communicate with a Variety of Customer Personnel.
Strong Leadership Qualities.
Excellent Software Troubleshooting Skills.
Good People Skills
Willingness to Provide Excellent Service and Customer Satisfaction
Experience in Resolving Security System and Software Issues.
Security Systems Design Experience.
Basic CAD and MS Products Knowledge.
