SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for working in direct correlation with our manufacturing team to ensure seamless transition between the manufacturing of our products and the shipment of these products to our customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide guidance, instruction, and training to department employees
- Responsible for hiring and performance management of warehouse employees
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading areas, delivery vehicles, by hand or using forklift, trucks, and other equipment onto/from shipping pallets
- Pulling material off shelves and putting material away using a ladder or forklift
- Packaging material into boxes
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine shipments
- Record inventory in warehouse, on order, and needed to be ordered to fulfill existing and pending orders
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading
- Ensure that all shipments are correct, completed in a timely manner, and tracked
- Oversee a shipping and receiving clerks and material handlers
- Using ERP software to keep an accurate track of all inventories, tracking shipment of incoming inventory replacement, and cross-checking inventory between computer system and physical inventory numbers
- Monitor incoming orders and monitor inventory to ensure orders can be filled
- Liaison to Sales and Manufacturing team at Production Meetings to ensure all departments are informed on inventory and shipments
REQUIRED
- 5 plus years of experience in Shipping/ Receiving/ Inventory Management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Interacting with Computers - Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) enter data and process information to keep track of all inventories
