Mechanical Designer US Citizenship is required and drug test is required.Job Title : Mechanical Designer (Contractor), 6 months Job Description : We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience to join our team on a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SolidWorks and be skilled in designing sheet metal enclosures. This role requires a mix of design work and hands-on prototyping, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both CAD work and physical builds. Key Responsibilities : Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify sheet metal enclosure designs. Generate detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to refine designs. Assist in prototype builds, including hands-on assembly and troubleshooting. Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, and quality requirements. Work closely with suppliers and fabrication teams to support production. Qualifications : Proficiency in SolidWorks for sheet metal design. Experience with sheet metal enclosure design and fabrication methods. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical assembly. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
