Job Title : Mechanical Designer (Contractor), 6 months
Job Description :
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience to join our team on a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SolidWorks and be skilled in designing sheet metal enclosures. This role requires a mix of design work and hands-on prototyping, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both CAD work and physical builds.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize SolidWorks to create and modify sheet metal enclosure designs.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to refine designs.
- Assist in prototype builds, including hands-on assembly and troubleshooting.
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers and fabrication teams to support production.
