We are seeking an experienced and technically savvy Technical Program Manager (TPM) . The TPM will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams to deliver critical features and functionality of the platform. This includes managing the work streams to ensure successful delivery of the tools and features that improve the connected home experience.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing complex software projects, be well-versed in the software development life cycle (SDLC), and be proactive in overcoming obstacles to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
- Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets to collaborate with teams and track project progress.
- Define project goals and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall product objectives.
- Act as the point of contact between technical teams, product management, and other stakeholders to communicate progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
- Anticipate and manage obstacles proactively to keep the project moving forward and aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with product owners and engineers to break down complex concepts into actionable tasks and deliverables.
- Take ownership of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead team meetings, status updates, and sprint retrospectives to ensure that projects stay on track and stakeholders are informed.
- Mentor junior team members, helping them grow and develop in their roles.
- Maintain a focus on the customer experience and ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly solutions.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical program management or related roles, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) knowledge and experience, with a track record of successfully delivering software products.
- Strong technical background with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable tasks for development teams.
- Experience with mobile app development, particularly in telecom environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets for project management and collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to create plans and manage obstacles with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated maturity, proactivity, and the ability to take initiative.
- No direct Wi-Fi experience required—however, an understanding of home networking and connected devices is beneficial.
