Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Intern to join our aerospace team and contribute to cutting-edge projects involving artificial intelligence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply AI techniques to real-world aerospace challenges, including predictive maintenance, autonomous systems, optimization of flight operations, and data-driven decision-making.
The intern will also receive :

Key Responsibilities :
Develop and apply AI models for aerospace engineering use-cases.
Process and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate AI solutions into aerospace systems.
Assist in training and tuning models for tasks like image recognition, large language processing, and 3D design.
Demonstrate applied results and document methodologies for presentations and technical reviews.
Required Qualifications :
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Must be willing to work from the GE Aerospace office in Evendale, OH.
Desired Qualifications :
Strong programming skills in building AI models locally and using Cloud technologies.
Experience with data analysis, deep learning, or computer vision techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with aerospace systems, 3D design is preferred but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Benefits :
Pay rates for this position begin at $20 / hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
