Job Description Summary

The role requires active participation in a team environment using lean and 5S practices, a High School Diploma or GED, and basic knowledge of electro-mechanical components, ERP systems, computers, math, communication, and electrical testing equipment. Responsibilities include learning specific product lines, working from specs and blueprints, using inspection tools, performing tests, operating burn-in ovens, cross-training, passing an annual eye exam, supporting operations, training team members, and other duties as assigned. Desired qualifications include basic troubleshooting and structural soldering and inspection skills

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Product Line Learning: Ability to learn and understand specific product lines as required.

  • Work from Specifications: Capability to work from specifications, manuals, and blueprints.

  • Use of Inspection Tools: Ability to use net inspect and data sheets as needed.

  • Dimensional/Hot Water Leak Test: Learn and perform dimensional and hot water leak tests as required.

  • Burn-in Oven Operations: Load and unload modules in the burn-in oven as necessary.

  • Cross-Training: Willingness to cross-train in other areas.

  • Eye Exam: Pass an annual eye exam specific to the job title.

  • Support Operations: Provide support across departments and product lines, demonstrating flexibility.

  • Training: Train less experienced team members.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications / Skills:

  • Team Participation in Lean and 5S Practices: Engage actively in a team setting that employs lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Education: Possess a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Electro-mechanical Knowledge: Have a foundational understanding of electro-mechanical components and assemblies.

  • ERP Skills: Basic proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

  • Computer Skills: Basic competency in using computers.

  • Math Skills: Basic mathematical abilities.

  • Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills.

  • Electrical Testing Equipment: Basic knowledge of using electrical testing equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting: Basic skills in troubleshooting test setups.

  • Soldering and Inspection: Basic skills in structural soldering and inspection.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
