Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, ensuring efficient operations.
- Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, potentially including support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
- Apply general business knowledge developed through education or past experience to understand how the team's work contributes to the area.
- Resolve issues using established procedures, consulting supervisors or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Collaborate with others to solve issues and develop strong customer relationships for customer-facing roles, serving as the interface between customers and GE.
- Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
The Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
