Roles And Responsibilities
- Facilitate customer order management – generate proposals, process order intake, input into internal systems. Connect to customer portals and systems. May support forecasting, billing and collection activities.
- Integrate with Supply Chain fulfillment leaders to clearly communicate customer requirements and gather input to report material commitments to the customer.
- Uses a Lean mindset to identify waste and improve current processes. Problem solver mentality with a drive to create a solution.
- Ability to identify as well as manage business opportunities and risks on a regular basis.
- Increasing delivery performance for our customer.
- Key contact for customer inquiries and satisfaction customer complaint (issue) resolution process.
- Exercises judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred to have experience in Material Management/Supply Chain
- This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
