As the Quality Specialist, you will have ownership of Aviation Component Service Center (ACSC) Technical Publications and Document Revision Control administration.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
ACSC Technical Publication & Document Revision Control Administration (Doc Center)
Administrator of the site technical publication and document revision control program
Ensure site-wide compliance regarding technical publication data and its use within the site’s Quality System
Act as the site technical publication consultant for repair network leadership and internal teams
Oversee maintenance of eManuals 2.0 site-wide and act as the ongoing site focal
Act as a consultant to re-structure and/or re-write processes and procedures around the technical publication and document revision control program within eManuals
Maintain site eManuals structure for most efficient use of site documents
Index and upload site-specific documents into eManuals for use
Act as a training focal point for eManuals
Ensure the latest and industrialized approved technical data is available to the site
Report to site leadership the status of technical publications in the review process
Track engine manual and document revisions through reports used by other internal teams
Work alongside technical coordinators and special process owners to ensure a timely review of technical publications
Create quality concern reports and action tracking system line items for delinquent technical publications when applicable
Manage the current engine manual database and archived data
Maintain a site-specific technical publication archive
Other potential responsibilities include management of ACSC Quality webpage, facilitation and management of database workflows or other digital tracking, support/development of digital tools
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 1 years of quality experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4 years of quality experience).
1 years of experience with eManuals system required.
Desired Characteristics:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent computer skills – comfortable navigating and learning software and databases.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Ability to take data of various forms and perform basic analysis.
Adept with Microsoft Office tools.
Proficient communication skills.
Proven work ethic.
Takes initiative, demonstrates creativity.
Attention to detail.
