Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced developer to join our MBE / PLM team, to help develop new capabilities that will transform how GE Aerospace designs and builds our next generation aircraft engines. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, test, implementation, and supporting of NX / Teamcenter based applications, configuration, customization and services, that enable a Model Based Enterprise and create a true Digital Thread flow of information.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will : Architect and design sound / supportable technical solutions to complex business requirementsEvaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design / configurationCode complex / integrated customizations and / or solutionsProvide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionalityTriage / debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actionsPartner with stakeholders to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutionsDevelop new Pages / Reports / InterfacesDevelop new application enhancementsWrite technical specificationsDocument system changesProvide on-call supportReview technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standardsTrain / Mentor less experienced resourcesEducation QualificationBachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experienceNote : Military experience is equivalent to professional experienceEligibility Requirement : -Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
