Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Working closely with product and program leaders, you will:
- Drive product development, including management and execution of an MGPP and development of product line strategy for the existing Front Load, Combo, and Commercial Laundry Product Categories
- Coordinate with Sr. Director of Front Load & Combo to build seamless product plans, balancing NPI on the existing platform with new upcoming architecture.
- Partner cross-functionally to drive significant reductions in Cost of Poor quality, and thinking from a consumer mindset to improve the ownership experience.
- Develop Commercial Laundry hardware roadmap and improvements to support software & ecorevenue roadmap
- Support development of GEA Commercial Laundry Go To Market strategy and partner closely with existing and potential customers to hone strategy.
- Lead partnership development strategy across the microenterprise to deliver ecorevenue, as well as best practice sharing across the clothes care industry (Clothes Care Research Council)
- Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources and translate into actionable insights and user experiences
- Work with product marketing to help develop positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation from competitors
- Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development, prioritization and execution as well as identifying potential issues and solutions
- Deliver on profitability, inventory, revenue, and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Execute NPIs (New Product Introductions) through internal collaboration while also driving alignment with external vendors and partners
- Engage sales on funnel management, VOC (Voice of Customer), and training opportunities
- Support commercialization efforts, including new customer onboarding, trainings, expos, and other events. Participate actively in discussions on segmentation and channel strategy
- Have an entrepreneurial style with a strong bias toward action. Find solutions for the business and your customers with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams in an inclusive, results-oriented manner
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent related experience
- 7 years’ cross functional experience , marketing, technology, operations, or equivalent
- Passionate about change, the ownership lifecycle experience, building great products/services and solving customer and business problems and a strategic mindset to drive both short term and long-term goals
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills
- Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with excellent organization and communication skills
- Up to 20% domestic/international travel as required by business needs for attendance at trade shows, client meetings, etc.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
