How You'll Create Possibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Own and execute the annual operational plan for your value stream.
- Drive key performance metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team engagement.
- Lead and coach salaried and hourly team members, ensuring alignment with overall plant goals.
- Champion lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and kaizen events to improve processes.
- Implement standardized work and ensure process stability across the value stream.
- Coach and mentor Area Business Leaders, Process Improvement Engineers, and Team Leaders.
- Create development plans for team members, offering performance feedback and career guidance.
- Recruit and onboard top talent to strengthen your team.
- Ensure defect-free production and compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and resolve quality issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with engineering and quality teams to improve key metrics like First Pass Yield and Service Call Rate.
- Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct accident investigations, implement corrective actions, and maintain a proactive safety program.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical degree preferred; OR 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
- Proven ability to lead in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced analytical skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Communication and interpersonal abilities to inspire and motivate teams.
- Split between office and manufacturing environments.
