We're looking for a Director of Manufacturing Operations to oversee and optimize a value stream's performance, coach and develop a high-performing team, and champion continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

How You'll Create Possibilities
As the Director of Manufacturing Operations, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers, team leaders, and hourly production team members within the value stream.
- Drive operational performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team morale, aligning goals with broader value stream objectives.
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, production planning, and problem resolution.
- Utilize production boards to track performance, identify issues, and communicate key updates across shifts and teams.
- Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing practices and standardized work processes.
- Lead daily production and escalation meetings to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Foster a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards and conducting timely incident investigations.
- Champion continuous improvement through the Appliance Production System philosophy, ensuring a defect-free product is delivered according to specifications.
What You'll Bring to Our Team

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to work with all organizational levels to achieve results.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset, high energy, and a passion for leading teams and driving change.

Availability to support 24/7 manufacturing facilities, including occasional off-shift, on-call, and weekend responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma certification and knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices.
- Hands-on experience with Lean, DMAIC, and other process improvement tools.
