We are searching for a highly organized and results-driven individual to join our team as a Warehouse Productivity Manager. You will be responsible for leading and managing projects focused on optimizing warehouse operations, improving efficiency, and maximizing productivity to reduce the cost of warehousing within the GE Appliances network. This role requires a blend of strong project management skills, analytical thinking, and an understanding of warehouse processes and/or related manufacturing processes that utilize lean/continuous improvement methodologies. This role will be heavily focused on problem solving initiatives/projects that support the daily and weekly operations of the warehousing team.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead cross-functional teams composed of 3PL ops leaders, GE Appliances warehousing ops leads, DT personnel, and external vendors to execute continuous improvement projects
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and roadblocks, and implement corrective actions that support warehousing productivity targets
- Ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and meet defined performance goals
- Lead and support new volume/emerging market initiatives to ensure implementation does not negatively impact warehouse productivity
- Coordinate material handling equipment/new technology needs with warehousing program manager to ensure proper funding is allocated for projects. Understand the ROI of each project to ensure we are working projects with the most benefit
Process Improvement & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing warehouse processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Develop, document, and implement new processes or modify existing ones to enhance efficiency and productivity…rewrite or create SOPs for the operations team based on need
- Leverage data and analytics to track progress, measure impact, and refine project strategies
- Execute to the Warehousing Operations Hoshin initiatives through project implementation revolving around damage/quality, new customer initiatives and cost out
Technology Implementation & Evaluation:
- Research and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve warehouse performance, such as warehouse management systems (WMS), labor management systems (LMS), automation software, or data analytics platforms
- Lead the implementation and integration of new technology solutions, collaborating with DT teams and vendors
- Execute and champion AI projects for the warehousing operations team to reduce waste/non-value add work, or to solve a specific customer issue
Team Management & Communication:
- Support ADC operations team with productivity needs, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment
- Effectively communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, including management, operations teams, and other departments
- Facilitate clear communication channels and provide regular feedback to team members
- Lead ‘go see’ initiatives to understand opportunities for new projects, and to support our team’s Hoshin objectives
- Establish and own project review rhythms to drive engagement from 3PL’s and to ensure the projects being worked are solving the right problems
- Create analytics dashboards, improve reporting and eliminate unnecessary waste in warehousing processes to streamline workflows
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay in tune with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions related to warehouse productivity
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the warehouse and develop creative solutions to address them
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, lean, supply chain management, or any other related manufacturing field, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering improvement projects.
- High level understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analysis tools, or similar ERP software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Working Conditions:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work when workload demands.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
