Job Description Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide overall administrative support to the General Manager for Combustors & Structures Part Family team and broader leadership team. You will work with limited supervision, meet day-to-day short-term objectives.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for calendar management, travel arrangements, expense management and overall administrative support of the General Manager and key members of the team
- Assist in purchasing of all supplies for leadership;
- Maintain and manage documents and standard work for GM
- Act as liason for GM across matrix organization, partnering with other administrative assistants and departments as needed
- Keep details current and accurate;
- Coordinate and manage tickets and distribution for employee events, aligning with GE processes
- Manage expenses for GM and key leaders
- Complete SSS Ordering
- Maintain and coordinate site visits, agenda, and logistical support for visitors to the Lynn sites
- Act as point of contact for general q
- Maintain operational cadences and support tracking of performance metrics as needed
- Sustain Data Integrity of processes and documents
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior GE experience preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience with Outlook and Microsoft office applications
- Ability to perform basic functions in Excel, including navigating to files, data input, copy and paste and sums;
- Detail orientated;
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understands all policies, practices, and procedures. Ability to multitask;
- Strong sense of priority;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and solve problems;
- Strong team player and desire for hands on approach to problem solving
