Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Leads various phases of the transaction process including analysis of inorganic strategy and markets, target identification and screening, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation and closing
- Supports prioritization of global market segment requirements, performs gap analysis to business unit portfolio, and defines strategic and tactical steps to best position segment for accelerated growth
- Works with Business Development leadership to manage communication and alignment with key internal stakeholders to support effective decision making and transaction approval processes
- Supports Managing Directors in executing on all Business Development transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, partnerships / alliances, and licensing
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Life Sciences or Medicine
- Experience supporting and / or leading certain elements of the transaction process including: analyzing strategy and markets, identifying and screening targets, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation and closings
- Uses judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Team leadership and facilitation skills in a matrix organization and interacting with senior executives
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- 10 years of experience in Healthcare industry, especially digital health experience
