Roles and Responsibilities
- Recap any updates with Supervisor following team huddle.
- Know and understand each role within the department.
- Get outside department contacts involved when necessary (quality, maintenance, warehouse, yard, etc.)
- Point of contact in department when Supervisor is unavailable.
- Report any findings, issues, observations to the Supervisor.
- Support system for employees
- Delegate where employees should be working throughout the shift.
- Ensure that shells are prepared to the highest of quality standards
- Make sure employees are following all LM policies.
- Attend Team Leader Training and Train new employees
- Engineering point of contact for questions and / or trials.
- Conduct walk-throughs with candidates when supervisor is unavailable.
