Responsibilities / Tasks
The BioPharma Business Development Manager will be a key player in expanding GEA's presence in the biopharmaceutical sector. This role is suited for a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong hunter mentality, dedicated to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with GEA's global pharma team, focusing on market penetration, client relationship development, and the promotion of GEA's technologies and solutions in the biopharma industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Market and Client Development :
- Identify and pursue new projects and potential clients with applications suitable for GEA technologies.
- Initiate and establish initial contacts directly or in collaboration with GEA and non-GEA partners to introduce products and technologies to prospective clients.
- Cultivate and nurture client relationships, progressing them to the appropriate stage for introduction to regional sales contacts alongside the technical applications manager.
Client Engagement and Standardization :
Global Collaboration and Product Development :
Business Growth and Lead Generation :
Your Profile / Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, preferably within the biopharma or pharmaceutical sectors.
Strong understanding of GEA technologies and their applications in biopharmaceutical processes.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a global team environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Active participation in industry organizations such as ISPE and ASME is highly desirable.
