In this key position as HVAC Technical Support,you will be responsible for providing real-time technical help over the phone troubleshooting installation and repair issues for HVAC field service techs. The ideal candidate will be one with a very high sense of urgency, good at record keeping, extremely organized, detail oriented, with excellent people skills and follow up skills. This is primarily an office job with no field repair or service required. There will be some job site visits and some travel for OEM factory training each year.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previously worked as an HVAC technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help HVAC contractors find solutions to service issues
- Conduct HVAC training classes for contractors and service technicians.
- Review, analyze, and develop solutions to lower warranty costs.
- Work with Product Managers to Identify and communicate issues and solutions.
- Execute and follow through with plans and promises.
- Remain calm and focused at all times
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years HVAC field service experience
- Excellent in creative problem solving skills to help customers find solutions
- Excellent communication skills - listening, speaking, and written
- Strong working knowledge and use of wiring diagrams
- Highly motivated to respond quickly and accurately
- Extensive knowledge of Unitary and Ductless HVAC equipment
- Proficient with use of smart phones, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must live within a reasonable distance of our Denver, CO location.
