Duties
- Individualized Training Programs: Designing tailored strength and conditioning programs based on the specific needs of athletes or clients. These responsibilities reflect the multifaceted role of a Strength Coach in optimizing athlete performance while ensuring safety and long-term athletic development.
- Performance Assessment: Conducting assessments to evaluate athletes' strength, flexibility, and overall physical performance to track progress and adjust training plans.
- Injury Prevention: Implementing strategies and exercises aimed at minimizing injury risks through proper technique and conditioning.
- Technique Instruction: Teaching and correcting proper lifting and exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness during training sessions.
- Nutrition Guidance: Providing basic nutritional advice and education to support athletes’ training goals and overall health.
- Monitoring Progress: Regularly tracking athlete performance and fitness levels through tests and evaluations to adjust training methodologies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with coaches, medical staff, and sports scientists to ensure a comprehensive approach to athlete training and recovery.
- Motivation and Support: Encouraging and motivating athletes during training sessions to help them achieve their goals and maintain a positive mindset.
- Continuous Education: Staying updated with the latest strength and conditioning research and techniques through professional development opportunities and certifications.
- Facility Management: Overseeing the upkeep and organization of training facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient training environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
