About the role: With our continued focus on vertical growth, we have added a manufacturing facility in Huntington, IN. The Production Supervisor is a working supervisor role and will be overseeing a production shift that operates rotary furnaces and a reverb furnace. This operation is a 24/7 operation.
Duties:
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff.
- Ensuring the safety standards are met to keep the organization accident-free.
- Trouble shoot production issues when necessary and communicate to other supervisors and the production manager.
- Ensuring that quality standards meet spec to keep customer satisfaction at a high level.
- Communicating regularly with the production manager regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Evaluating machines and equipment resources to ensure continued production with minimal downtime.
