POSITION SUMMARY : The Facility Team Lead will perform and oversee all aspects related to facilities / construction work and 3rd party facility / construction services across all divisions.
REPORTS TO : General Manager of Property Division
SUPERVISES : Facility / Grounds Assistants
Requirements
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform and oversee the work of all facility personnel, which includes being capable of performing and supervising the following skilled trades : construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC work.
Effective communication with GM and Custodian Team Leader for the overall Property Management Division.
Oversee 3rd party services rendered to facilities including quoting and quality control audits
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards to provide exemplary internal customer service.
Monitor progress of all projects and adjust as needed.
Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
Physical Requirements : Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity : ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
