Description:
The Scale Attendant will be responsible for weighing trucks in and out. Working with the Shipping and Receiving team to achieve the company's daily goals for inbound and outbound loads. The ideal Scale Attendant would be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, have great communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Requirements:Job Duties
- Weighing inbound and out loads
- Matching paperwork with incoming loads
- Communicating with the shipping team to determine what dock to send drivers
- Scanning documents
- Talking and answering questions from sales team and settlement team
- Working in the in the inbound and outbound calendars
- Greeting and communicating with drivers
- Take paperwork from and give paperwork to drivers
** This location requires this person to do some custodial duties which include but are not limited to:
- Empty trash
- Dust offices
- Sweep floors
- Mop floors
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean/ restocking of breakroom
