G Hospitality is seeking an experienced and innovative Catering Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Providence, RI. The Catering Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation for large-scale catering events, ensuring exceptional quality and taste for every occasion. This role requires a creative leader with a passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all events meet the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to prepare and execute high-quality, customized menus for catering events of various sizes.
- Collaborate with clients and event coordinators to design unique and memorable catering menus that align with client preferences and event themes.
- Oversee the entire catering operation, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet G Hospitality’s standards of excellence.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients to maintain proper stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and consistency in food preparation and service.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and delivery of exceptional service during events.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or special requests to ensure their satisfaction.
- Ensure proper staffing levels for catering events and manage schedules accordingly.
- Maintain budgets, monitor food and labor costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and flavors into catering offerings.
