Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team. As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all customers have an exceptional experience. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. You will also assist with financial oversight, inventory management, and training new team members to help drive the success of the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Train, develop, and motivate staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Help manage and monitor financial performance, including overseeing budgeting, cost control, and achieving sales targets.
  • Ensure food quality and consistency by maintaining standards for preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional, timely, and effective manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring stock is properly stored and rotated.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive business and attract customers.
  • Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including payroll processing, employee records, and reporting.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the foodservice or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant or retail management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Business or Hospitality Management preferred.
