We are looking for an organized and proactive Restaurant Assistant Terminal Director to support the daily operations of our restaurant terminal in Jamaica, NY. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the efficient operation of the restaurant terminal, ensuring smooth service delivery, managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Terminal Director in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant terminal, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and ensuring team members adhere to company standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health and safety protocols.
- Oversee food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and high standards, aligning with the restaurant’s concept.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies, organizing storage, and minimizing waste.
- Support operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement in service delivery, processes, and workflow.
- Serve as a point of contact for guests and vendors, addressing concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Assist in managing logistics, including coordination of food deliveries, storage, and equipment use to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Prepare reports related to restaurant performance, safety audits, inventory management, and customer satisfaction for the Terminal Director.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant terminal area, maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and guests.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless communication and operations.
- Handle any emergency situations that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to service and guest experience.
