We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Catering to lead and oversee all catering operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and client relationship skills to create memorable dining and event experiences. This role involves managing a team of professionals, developing innovative catering solutions, and ensuring outstanding customer service in alignment with our companys standards of excellence. The Director of Catering will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through event planning expertise and strong client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Team Management :
- Provide leadership and direction to the catering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage catering staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development initiatives.
- Event Planning & Client Relations :
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, event goals, and budget requirements, delivering customized solutions that exceed expectations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all events, including corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients to establish and maintain positive relationships.
- Operational Management :
- Develop and manage catering budgets, ensuring cost control without compromising quality or service.
- Oversee menu development in partnership with culinary teams, ensuring alignment with client preferences and current trends.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all catering operations.
- Strategic Planning & Business Development :
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote catering services and secure new business.
- Analyze performance metrics, client feedback, and industry trends to continually enhance services and offerings.
- Customer Service Excellence :
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, addressing any client concerns promptly and professionally.
