Maintenance Tech - Dalton, Georgia
Knowledge:
- Advanced equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with assembly related to weld cells.
- Well versed troubleshooting skills required.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS Certs, Electrical & Mechanical Repairs, Fanuc Robot(Preferred) and CMM Programming a plus.
- Must be able to operate basic hand tools, ability to run the machines, use of grease guns, forklifts, cranes, and equipment related to the maintenance and repair of equipment and machines.
- Works to eliminate downtime. Identifies and eliminates sources of downtime and variation through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures. Can assist with 5 why solutions.
- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks are required.
Qualifications:
- Read, diagnose and repair of weld cells equipment, perform preventive maintenance, familiar with electrical schematics and other documents to assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment, troubleshoot machinery and equipment, communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees. Use of multimeter preferred
- Prefer Formal training leading to journeyman status in machine repair as electrician, industrial mechanic, or equivalent.
- Prefer but not required. Five years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of production equipment such as, but not limited to, lasers and robots (preferably Trumpf Lasers and Fanuc Robots) equipment in a high-volume production environment.

- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks are required.
Physical Demands
Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
