We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Engineer to join our dynamic Innovations team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation and validation of our cutting-edge AMR and Robotics products. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful problem-solver who embraces novel challenges and can align solutions with business needs and objectives.
About the Role: As a Product Engineer on the Innovations team, you will be responsible for evaluating new and existing AMR and Robotics products for local market readiness, identifying potential roadblocks to implementation, and ensuring seamless integration into customer environments. You will work closely with the product, sales, and project teams to drive product enhancement, project delivery quality, and customer satisfaction in the Americas region.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate AMR products and features for ease of implementation, identifying and documenting potential challenges and proposing solutions
· Validate product performance metrics, including throughput, accuracy, and efficiency, through rigorous testing and data analysis
· Ensure the quality and completeness of product documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and training materials
· Establish and maintain relationships with local material and support providers to ensure timely availability of necessary resources
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis of MHE product and solution failures
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of our AMR products and processes
· Stay up to date on the latest advancements in AMR technology and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) or 3 years of experience in a related technical field
· Basic proficiency in AutoCAD
· Demonstrated experience in AMR deployment and troubleshooting
· Proven ability to perform root cause analysis of MHE products and solutions
· Basic understanding of warehouse automation software (WMS, WCS, WES, etc.)
· Basic understanding of AMR safety systems and protocols
· Familiar with hardware and electronics (sensors, motors, solenoids, etc.)
· Experience with mechanical and electrical installations (design, management, or operation all qualify)
· Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive results independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Fabrication experience or proficiency with tools
· Experience with programming (C , python, java, APIs)
· Experience with PLCs and IoT devices
· Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
