Job Summary: We are seeking per diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As an LPN at Geer Village, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being throughout all stages of life.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs and health status of residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, promoting residents' comfort and dignity.
- Provide urgent care as needed, responding promptly to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements: Valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut. Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and respond to changes in resident conditions. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in memory care is beneficial but not required. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
