What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Grade Teacher position at Gehlen Catholic School?
Gehlen Catholic School seeks an elementary teacher (3rd grade) for the 2025-2026 year only (one year assignment due to a leave). The ideal candidate would be a faith-filled teacher with excellent skills in explicit instruction, classroom management, knowledge of inclusivity in general education setting, and experiences with the Science of Reading and standards-based education.
Valid Iowa Teaching License
Reading Endorsement preferred
Grade-level experience preferred
Or the ability to obtain a substitute authorization, if applicable.
