We're looking for hardworking and dedicated Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Agents to work our real time, internet-generated leads in our GEICO local office. Our agency works year-round to grow our client base and retain our existing customers who entrust their auto, home and other insurance needs to us. Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Learning the basics of GEICO Insurance and how to sell our products to potential customers.
- Quote prices and provide different options to each caller or in-person customer.
- Make (licensed) auto insurance sales, and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service.
- Educate clients on auto, cycle, boat, RV, home, and renter's insurance.
- Service existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities during retention calls.

Requirements
- A Property & Casualty license is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Must have ability to multi-task.
- Great customer service skills.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Strong computer skills, along with the ability to learn and work within multiple quoting systems. Must be able to type at least 40wpm.
- Driven and goal-oriented individual, with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to tactfully handle challenging situations and deal with a variety of customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A knack for utilizing data and processes.
- A high-energy personality and a love of working with people both on the phone and in-person. Up to 75% of your day will be on the phone with clients and the remainder will be working with walk-in potential customers.
- Punctual with the flexibility to stay and work a quote to its completion.
Salary : $45,000 - $80,000
