JOB SUMMARY
The Recruiter is responsible for working in conjunction with the Recruiting Department in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates to fill open positions within the company. The Recruiter will place job ads on various online channels, evaluate applications and provide shortlists of qualified candidates based on established criteria. Ultimately, this position assists our clients in reducing time to hire by providing high-quality candidates in a timely manner. The Recruiter is also responsible to help the division focus on their key areas of success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, screen, interview and select candidates for open positions within the company.
- Assist with posting internal and external job advertisements.
- Attend job fairs and network with partners.
- Schedule and conduct candidate screenings/interviews via phone calls, zoom, and/or in person and select quality candidates for Conditional Job Offers.
- Utilize Recruitment Software and established procedures to document and track candidates’ progress from initial point of application to final point of hire.
- Extend Conditional Job Offers and conduct pre-employment criminal background checks, drug screens, and reference checks.
- Facilitate all pre-employment testing for Security Guards, such as Powers to Arrest, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and CALSAGA.
- Assist candidates in applying for BSIS Guard Cards and Alarm Cards.
- Meet with candidates for uniform fittings.
- Coordinate orientations; administer and complete E-Verifications and onboarding paperwork; and create ID badges.
- Provide support for the front office.
- Assist with opening and closing the front lobby.
- Assist guests, monitor visitor access, and maintain security awareness.
- Assist current employees with inquiries and personnel forms.
- Assist jobseekers with application, current openings and general inquires.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail/deliveries/dry cleaning.
- Assist with distributing paychecks to employees.

- Must hold a valid California Driver’s License and have ability to travel for recruiting purposes.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and keep others apprised of progress.
- Sound judgement and applying effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good presentation skills and fundamental investigation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English or Hmong/English a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in recruitment a plus, but not required.
- Will consider industry knowledge (Security, Janitorial and Alarm Services) in lieu of recruitment experience.
- Constantly remain in a stationary position.
- Occasionally move and/or position self to access office to office equipment, cabinets, etc.
- Constantly operate computers, telephones, and various other office equipment.
- Constantly communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Seldomly move or transport items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Constantly have near and far visual acuity, and the ability to discern colors, and judge distances/spatial relationships.
- This position operates in a professional indoor office environment and consistently uses standard office equipment.
- The noise level for this position is usually quiet to moderate.
We suggest the following terms for describing the amount of time a task takes: “Seldomly” is only a few times a day for a short duration, or not daily; “Occasionally” is up to one-third of the day; “Frequently” is up to two-thirds of the day; and “Constantly” is over two-thirds of the day.

Recruiter position is Full-Time, M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Scale: $20.00 - $23.50
An employee's actual rate of pay for this position is reliant upon various factors such as the geographic location of the worksite, the type of industry/clientele being serviced, and the employee's longevity with the company.

Salary : $20 - $24
