Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Care Specialist to join our team in the Electrophysiology department at Geisinger Medical Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service.
Duties:
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate and manage patients with complex arrhythmia conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms and electrophysiology studies
- Prescribe medication and treatment plans within scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with cardiovascular disease
Requirements:
- Certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners or eligible for national certification
- Licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA
- Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
