Cardiovascular Care Specialist
We invite applications from highly motivated Cardiovascular Care Specialists to join our dynamic team at Geisinger's Heart Institute. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service. Your responsibilities will include ordering testing as deemed necessary, remaining proficient in interpreting results, and prescribing appropriate medication regimens within your scope of practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals to work with a team of over 100 physicians and more than 75 advanced practitioners who provide care in 5 acute care tertiary/quaternary hospitals, 4 community hospitals, and numerous outreach locations. We perform over 10,000 cardiac procedures annually and offer a range of services, including complex arrhythmia ablation, coronary, vascular, and structural heart interventions, and an advanced heart failure program.
