Job Description:
We are seeking a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team in Scranton, PA. As a Nocturnist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients during night shifts. You will work closely with our Hospital Medicine team to deliver innovative patient care. Your primary duties will include performing initial assessments and triage of patients, keeping track of pertinent procedure and laboratory results, discussing plans with physicians, and returning calls to families and patients regarding test results and treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (Required) and be certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Additionally, you should have Basic Life Support Certification from a Default Issuing Body. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, has excellent communication skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
