About the Role
We are seeking an experienced transportation professional to join our team as a Transportation Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of our transportation services, including the coordination and interaction of clinical areas with support service departments. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients are transported safely and efficiently to their destinations.
Responsibilities
- Routing and Scheduling: Supervise the daily routing and scheduling of transportation staff, ensuring that each responsible employee's assignments are being performed thoroughly and effectively.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the proper maintenance of vehicles, including routine checks and repairs to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Maintain a current understanding of the transportation services provided by our organization, assuring timely and effective response to all department and clinical unit requests and requirements.
- Metrics Analysis: Monitor and respond to activity and issues, delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinate personnel as needed while assuring proper utilization of human resources and supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year-Managerial/Supervisory (Required)
