Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, collect vital signs, and document information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and tests, as needed.
- Perform phlebotomy, collect and prepare laboratory specimens, and support minor surgical procedures.
- Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing reports, and responding to phone calls and inquiries.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma Medical Assistant program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assist (RMA) required.
- Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months.
