Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to policies, procedures, and best practices
- Triage patient needs by identifying, observing, and documenting physical requirements, ensuring timely interventions
- Assist patient care staff with procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, EKGs, and blood glucose monitoring, promoting efficiency and safety
- Perform unit desk clerk functions when necessary, maintaining accurate records and communication
- Ensure the integrity of specimens according to policy and procedure, upholding quality standards
- Transport medications and blood products as required, demonstrating attention to detail and safety protocols
- Monitor safety and suicide risks, prioritizing patient well-being and security
- Access non-controlled medication storage areas and transport medications as needed, showcasing responsibility and expertise
